Castlegar residents are going to have a unique opportunity to hear two songwriters perform their works at the Castlegar Library Amphitheatre this Friday.
Scott Cook has spent more than a decade touring across Canada, the United States, the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, and elsewhere. He will be backed by the acoustic trio the Second Chances.
Cook’s songs are true stories set to music, drawing on influences from folk, roots, country, soul, and blues.
The second set will be played by Justin Farren.
Farren writes multidimensional songs that are uniquely personal but endlessly inventive and highly relatable.
The concert is Friday at 7 p.m. but organizers suggest showing up at 6:20 p.m. in order to get a seat. A donation of $20 is suggested as a contribution to the artists.
