All Sookies with a desire for theatre, here’s your chance.
The Sooke Harbour Players are looking for 40 actors for their upcoming play Oliver this November.
Auditions are on Friday, June 23 from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, June 24 from 1 to 5 p.m. for adults, and Sunday, June 25 from 1 to 5 p.m. for youth.
Play director Drew Kemp, whose work was previously seen in recent musicals Annie and Blithe Spirit, said the Players were looking for a family-friendly musical that would match up to Annie that they did last year.
“We wanted something that had a fairly strong youth component to it,” he said.
