Singer-songwriter Adam Hill will be bringing his new-timey folk and roots sound to Char’s Landing on Friday, Sept. 12. Ohio-born Hill mixes sounds and stories he’s picked up in all the places he’s lived in, from Tennessee to Wyoming to his home in Vancouver. Whether it’s the Fourth of July he spent dodging firecrackers, the taxidermist he met in Rock Springs or the robbery he witnessed in Winston-Salem, he’s got stories in spades.
But sound is important too and Hill puts himself in a line of traditional music that stretches all the way back to Gus Cannon.
Hill will perform at Char’s Landing at 4815 Argyle St. on Friday, Sept. 12 from 8-10 p.m. Advanced tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors at Gayle’s Fashions or Rollin.
