Gallery 7 Theatre and Performing Arts Society hosts its final workshop of the season – Directing for the Stage –  this week.

With this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore both basic and advanced skills in directing.

Topics to be discussed include research processes, text analysis, collaborating with actors and designers, developing a rehearsal schedule, implementing effective rehearsal techniques and generally transforming ideas in to reality.

“This is a great workshop for those working in church, school and community theatre settings,” explains Ken Hildebrandt, the company’s artistic director. “Even actors will benefit by exploring the playmaking process from a completely different perspective.”
