Mission Folk Music Festival – celebrates a landmark 30 years of music in beautiful Fraser River Heritage Park, Friday to Sunday, July 21-23. Nature Walk: Ravine Trail – Saturday, July 22, 1-2:30 p.m. at Campbell Valley Regional Park. Learn about the many facets of nature while walking around a pond, in a butterfly garden, or over grassy meadows into the shaded forest along the Ravine Trail. Led by naturalist Al Schulze from the White Rock and Surrey Naturalists Society. Presented by the Campbell Valley Nature House hosts. All ages, free. Solar Observing – Saturday, July 22, 1-4 p.m. at Campbell Valley Regional Park Nature House, 20285 8th Ave., Langley, via the South Valley park entrance. The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada will set up solar telescopes to look at the sun. There will also be a fun solar system toss activity for kids to learn about the planets and their order. Soccer Camp – at Ross Road Community Church, July 24-28, 9 a.m. until noon. Spend a fun morning improving your soccer skills. All levels of skill are welcome.
