Around 65 students across Grade 8 to 12 performed in the Annual Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School (PSO) Christmas Concert.
“I was very pleased with how it went. I thought there was a great audience turnout and a lot of support,” said Jasmine Kreschuck, the school’s band teacher.
She estimated that maybe 150 people came to watch the show.
“I felt like all the students played extremely well and gave it their all,” she said. “All the groups individually did really well. I think the tour band is always a high light just because all the groups come together and perform so I thought that went really well at the end.”
Some of the songs performed were pieces by Robert Buckley (a B.C. composer), a Christmas piece called a Solitary Wish and LeRoy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride.
