The Superheroes of Victoria are coming to Uptown shopping centre for the fifth annual Superhero Kids’ Day on Saturday, June 27.
From 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Superheroes children’s carnival will teach kids about local heroes such as the police, firefighters, ambulance, search and rescue, healthcare professionals and more.
The day is marked with superhero-themed games and activities, a cape and mask-making station, face painting, relay races, a bouncy castle and special prizes for sharing a story about your favourite local hero.
The Arthur Murray Dance Academy will offer live entertainment, Michael’s will supply an arts and crafts station and Victoria HarbourCats baseball players will be ready to take the plunge in a dunk tank.
There’s also a grand draw to win a Taylor Swift Package including hotel for two, meals, and two tickets to see Taylor Swift live in Vancouver on Aug. 1.
