Well-known artist Sue Coleman has created a print which will be sold to help raise funds for The Land Conservancy’s portion of the cost of purchasing Sandcut Beach.
Coleman spent many years driving along the West Coast exploring the many beaches north of Sooke. With the paving of the Pacific Marine Circle Route she has returned many times to visit the wild side of the Island.
This past spring she did a piece to promote Sansum Point between Vancouver Island and Saltspring Island. In three months she was able to raise $15,000 for the TLC. She then decided to look closer at using her art to help such causes.
