Surrey writers’ festival turns another page

International event again attracting hundreds of scribes, editors and agents.

Outlander Series author Diana Gabaldon talks about the prejudice towards thick books during her workshop ‘How to Make Them Turn the Page’ at the Surrey International Writers Conference on Oct. 27.

The three-day event is held annually at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel and draws hundreds of amateur and professional writers from around the world.
