The Surrey Youth Orchestra is celebrating another year of music with their final concert of the season on Sunday, May 14.
Taking place at Chandos Pattison Auditorium, 10238 168 St. at 7 p.m., the evening will feature performances by the junior strings, a lively group of the orchestra’s youngest players, and the intermediate strings.

The spring concert will also include a solo performance by Bobby Zhang, 16, who won the honour during a Concerto Competition in January. He will play Mozart’s C Major Oboe Concerto.
Scholarship awards will also be presented to nine students on this evening.
