June 29 — The Latin project of Juno award-winning musician Tom Landa, Locarno, performs at the Dream Café. Premium seats are $48, wings $33.

June 30 — Vancouver’s hippest blues-funk band, Brickhouse, is performing at the Dream Café. Premium seats are $48, wins $33.

July 2 — Coffee Cups and Contemporaries at Cannery Brewing from 6 to 8 p.m. No cover.

July 6 — Masterful songwriter and contemporary troubadour Declan O’Donovan performs at the Dream Café. Tickets are $25 for premium seats, wings $15.

July 7 — Fernie-based stoke-folk band Shred Kelly perform at the Dream Café. Tickets are $41 for premium seats and $26 for the wings.

July 8 — Aaron Halliday has opened for Jason McCoy and Emerson Drive. The Canadian singer/songwriter will be performing at the Penticton Legion with Penticton’s own Beamer Wigley who shared the stage with Brett Kissel at the CCMA awards. All ages, show starts at 8 p.m.

July 9 — Join Aaron Loewen for a free concert at Cannery Brewing from 6 to 8 p.m. No cover charge.

July 13 — Canadian Folk Music Award winners Hillsburn, a Halifax-based quintet perform at the Dream Café. Tickets are $20 for premium seats and $10 for wings.

June 29 — Lloyd Gallery on Front Street hosts the opening reception for the Radiant Land solo exhibition by Robyn Lake from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

July 1 — Canada 150 music festival in Gyro Park in Penticton from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Market vendors on site all day, beverage gardens from 1:30 to 9 p.m., live music in the park and fireworks at 10 p.m.

July 1 — Penticton Scottish Festival at Kings Park. Pipe and drumming bands, highland dancers, heavy event competitions, beverage garden, vendors, stock dogs and more. The day ends with a ceilidh in the park, featuring Good McLaren and the McLan and Kinship. Admission is $10 for 16 years and up, $5 for kids six to15 years old and five and under free.

July 1 — Cherry Fiesta in Osoyoos kicks off with a parade at 11:15 a.m. Music and entertainment in Gyro Beach Bandshell and fireworks at 10 p.m.

July 7 — Guest artist Deb Tougas will have her exhibition Colour In Bloom on display at the Front Street Gallery. The opening event in on July 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

July 30 — The Little Mermaid Musical takes the audience along on this underwater adventure for the whole family. The show is at 3 p.m. at the Frank Venables Theatre.
