March 15 — Belle Plaine brings her Western Canadian tour to Penticton at 8 p.m. at Voodoo’s. Cover is $10.
March 16 — Carlos Del Junco and the Blues Mongrels at the Dream Café. Tickets are $28.
March 17 — Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at the Dream Café with The Malarkeys and Ari Neufeld. Tickets are $79 and include traditional Irish music and three course Irish dinner. This is also a fundraiser for the Penticton Pikes Swim Club and Feed The Valley.
March 20 — Showcase Penticton at Opus Café featuring Gail Riddall, Middlechild and Penticton’s Own Flashback. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students including taxes and available in advance or at the door.
March 22 — Blackberry Wood brings their alternative, folk, gypsy, circus, old-country, vaudeville sound to Voodoo’s.
March 23 — Vancouver’s favourite vaudevillian quartet Maria In The Shower at the Dream Café. Tickets are $24.
March 24 — Penticton Tune Agers choir and orchestra present Look to the Rainbow concert at 2:30 p.m. at the Cleland Theatre in Penticton. Tickets are $15 and available at the Penticton & Wine Country Visitors Centre.
March 28 — Lester Quitzau with Billy Hicks at the Dream Café. Tickets are $20.
March 30 — Mad Melody Records presents hip hop dance off at Fibonacci’s at 7:30 p.m. Hip-hop and DJ collaboration show features Noize.fm’s Stepone and Wolftrack along with Mad Melody emcees JDK Nonstop, Toxik Emissonz, and MC Bodhi. Plus Special DJ guest Colten Morelli. All ages event and there will be a $5 cover charge.
April 3 — Victoria’s Durban Poison – punky co-ed garage rock and roll – will be playing and hanging out selling records and tapes at Tiger Alley’s new location at 326 Main St.
April 5 — Relive the music of Elvis Presley with Elvis — The Moments featuring Pete Paquette, a two-time Collingwood Grand Champion, Toronto Elvis Festival Grand Champion, Top 10 in Memphis and voted Las Vegas Elvis Festival best performer. He will be supported by Rudy and the Angels band. Show is 7:30 p.m. at the Cleland Community Theatre. Tickets are $35 and available at the Penticton Community Centre or by calling 250-492-2426.
April 5 — Juno award winning world-class blues and boogie-woogie pianist Kenny Blues Boss Wayne at the Dream Café. Tickets are $30.
April 6 — David Gogo acoustic trio at the Dream Café. Tickets are $24.
April 7 — Disgraceland and Voodoo’s present Vancouver’s own outlaw Hip-Hop harmonica player, beatbox poet, punk piano player, string quartet raconteur, rock and roll matador and playwright C.R. Avery and the Special Interest Group with local guest Michael Musclow live at Voodoo’s at 8 p.m.
April 12 — Fighting for Ithaca and Halfway to Hollywood at Voodoo’s. All ages show, cover is $10.
April 19 and 20 — Oscar Lopez’s Latin guitar groove has made him a stand-out on the world music scene. He is playing at the Dream Café for two nights and tickets are $30.
April 20 — Motley Crue with special guest Big Wreck at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
Aug. 3 — Alan Jackson with special guest at the South Okanagan Events Centre.
Sept. 6 to 8 — 17th annual Pentastic Jazz Festival.

March 15 — Just Dance Penticton with Kundalini warm-up from 6 to 7 p.m. Kundalini Meditation, a kind of moving meditation to help you unwind, will be led by Adel Mosly to loosen you up for the Just Dance that takes place from 7:30 to 11 p.m. with live DJ mixing from DJ Tara. Event is at the Shatford Centre and is $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors and $3 for children 12 and under. Dance barefoot, socks or slippers. No drugs or alcohol. Cash only, exact change is appreciated.
March 16 — Ballet Kelowna at Centre Stage Theatre in Summerland for what may be their final performance after deciding to suspend operations at the end of the company’s 10th anniversary in April. Show is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $36 for adults, $26 for seniors and $16 for youths and can be purchased at BalletKelowna.ca, by phone at 250-862-2867 or in person at the Actors Studio box office at 1379 Ellis St. in Kelowna.

March 17 — Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Copper Mug Pub. Dancers at 3 p.m., pipers at 4 p.m. and live music from Rann Berry and The One Hit Wonders starting at 5:30 p.m. No cover.
March 17 — St. Patrick’s Day – Have A Heart Foundation Las Vegas raffle at the Barley Mill Brew Pub. Featuring all day and night entertainment by Honest Woods, Penticton Pipe Band, Irish dancers and Brian Highley. Poker and dart tournament.
March 23 — Exhibition tour at the Penticton Art Gallery of Terroir: Physically Speaking. Join the artists for a walk and talk. Entrance is by donation.
April 4 to 27 — Many Hats Theatre Company presents Jack Sharkey’s The Murder Room. Shows are at the Cannery Stage in the Cannery Trade Centre on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are $22 for adults and $19 for seniors and students. Until May 9 — The Penticton Art Gallery has a second of an ongoing series of exhibitions intended to explore and celebrate the incredible depth and breadth of our region’s visual arts community. In the main gallery is Terroir: Physically Speaking featuring artists Stephan Bircher, Rose Braun, Michael Hermesh, Wanda Lock, Shauna Oddleifson and Johann Wessels.
