June 1 — Renowned composer, jazz/classical pianist Stu Goldberg performs a solo concert to celebrate the donation of a Bechstein grand piano to the Shatford Centre. Tickets in advance are $20 for adults, $10 for students or $25/$15 at the door. Concert is 7 to 9 p.m. at Shatford.

June 8 — Aidan Mayes and Mandy Cole Hello Hercules EP release party at The Elite. Live art from Penticton artist Endrene Shepherd, meet and greet at 7 p.m., opening set from Olivia Loewen and Jessi Singleton followed by 8 p.m. set from Mayes and Cole. Tickets are $10 at The Elite.
June 9 — Canadian Fiddle Champion Scott Woods and his band present Swingin’ Fiddles at the Shatford Centre at 2 p.m. Old time music, step dancing, home spun family humour and Woods famous fiddle tricks.
June 15 —Back Alley Concert Series sponsored by Firehall Brewery in Oliver features Forever Young (Neil Young tribute band) from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $12 plus GST at Firehall Bistro.

EVENTS
June 1 — B.C. BellyFest hosts live performances from bellydancers across the province free to public at Gyro Park from 4 to 10 p.m.
June 1 and 2 — Summerland Art Club is hosting their annual show and sale at the lower floor of the Summerland Library with over 20 painters presenting original work. Meet the artists Sunday at 3 p.m.
June 4 — Encore! a repurposed violin fundraiser for the Penticton Academy of Music culminates with a dinner and auction at Theo’s Restaurant. Contributing artist George Traicheff will be auctioneering the event and live music by Cygnus Trio. Tickets are $40 at Theo’s or Penticton Academy of Music office at the Leir House.
June 8 — Battlefield Fight League, featuring some of the top MMA fighters in the province are in Penticton at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre for BFL24.
June 8 — JCI Penticton presents Murder at The Juice Joint, a night of mystery and intrigue into the wild and romantic era of the roaring 20s. Tickets include hors d’oeuvres all evening, music by DJ Shakes, silent auction, a role in the murder mystery and a chance at prizes. Event takes place at Bogner’s of Penticton at 7 p.m. Tickets are $55 with proceeds going to Penticton Regional Hospital for equipment upgrades.
July 20 — RCMP Musical Ride performs at the SOEC for two shows at 2 and 7 p.m.
