CONCERTS

June 29 — Penticton Eagles Club has entertainment by Paul James at 7 p.m.

June 29 — The Nikita Afonso trio perform at the Dream Café.

June 29-30 and July 1 — Summer patio music continues at the Barking Parrot with the Mamajamas from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

June 30 — Marianas Trench performs at the Penticton Lakeside Resort east ballroom. Tickets are $59 (must be 19 years and older to attend) and includes burger and salad. Tickets online or in person at the front desk.

July 1 — Justin Koshman performs at the Cannery Brewing Company on Ellis Street from 6 to 8 p.m. No cover charge.

July 4 — Dynamic vocalist with a sultry tone and powerhouse range, Emily Chambers performs at the Dream Café. Tickets are $25 for premium seats and $25 for the wings.

July 6 — The Fretless bring their new approach to folk music, that has been gaining high acclaim around the world, to the Dream Café. Premium tickets are $36 and wings are $26.

July 6 — The Penticton Eagles have the Rollin Coal Band in their club at 7 p.m.

July 8 — Enjoy free live music at the Cannery Brewing Company on Ellis Street from 6 to 8 p.m. with S.E. Elliott performing.

July 11 to 14 — Michael Kaeshammer returns to the Dream Café with a new album (Something New, released April 20). Doors open at 6 p.m. and shows at 8 p.m. Tickets are $59 for premium seats and $49 for the wings.

EVENTS

June 29-July 1 — Rotary Penticton Ribfest at Okanagan Lake Park. Ribs, beverage garden, entertainment, kids zone and more.

July 1 — Celebrate Canada Day in Gyro Park with a day full of family activities, live entertainment, vendors and more. Fireworks over Okanagan Lake at dusk.

July 1 — Cherry Fiesta in Osoyoos. Event kickoff with the Rotary Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. That is followed by the parade on Main Street. Live entertainment, craft and food vendors, cherry pit spit competition and more. Fireworks at dusk.

July 7 — Penticton Scottish Festival and Highland games. The one day event at King’s Park features bagpiping, drumming, Highland dancing, heavy events competitions and other activities, food vendors beverage garden and more.
