Sept. 7 — The Tequila Mockingbird Orchestra are a collection of musicians that weave their stories with guitars, violins, accordions and bass. Tickets for the Dream Café show are $37 for premium seats and $27 for the wings.

Sept. 15 — The Hugh Parsons Quintet, featuring vocalist Danielle Even, has cooked up a great recipe for Okanagan audiences with a new show featuring the compositions of Burt Bacharach. They perform at the Dream Café at 8 p.m. Tickets are $27 for premium seats and $17 for the wings.

Sept. 7 to 8 — The Summerland Fall Fair is a family event with children’s activities (petting zoo, arts and crafts, music and dance groups, vendor booths, exhibits and demonstrations celebrating agricultural activities.
Sept. 8 — Waxing Poetic, a celebration of encaustic art, takes place at the Leir House. Opening night event from 6 to 8 p.m. Runs until Oct. 5.
