CONCERTS

Nov. 10 — Paino Caméléons, presented by the South Okanagan Concert Society, will be at the Frank Venables Theatre in Oliver.

Nov. 10 — Canadian singer/songwriter Ridley Bent blends unique storytelling and various music genres to create a sound called hick-hop. He is performing at the Dream Café. Tickets are $41 for premium seats and $31 for the wings.

Nov. 12 — The Darylectones perform at the Cannery Brewing Co. on Ellis Street from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is free.

Nov. 16 — Jazz at Zia’s in Summerland featuring the Crawford and Crossley Quartet. Music is from 7 to 9 p.m. $10 cover charge.

Nov. 17 — Platinum-selling country artist Dallas Smith performs at the South Okanagan Events Centre. Tickets available at the SOEC box office, over the phone at 1-877-763-2849 and online at www.ValleyFirstTix.com.

Nov. 17 — Eight-time Juno Award nominee and winner Bill Bourne is performing at the Dream Café. Tickets are $39 for premium seating and $29 for wings.

Nov. 14 — Paint Nite fundraiser for Pathways Addictions Resource Centre at 7 p.m. at the Cannery Brewing Co. on Ellis Street. Tickets at www.paintnite.com.

Nov. 16 — The Penticton Art Gallery Kitchen Stove Film Festival presents: Loving Vincent, the world’s first fully oil-painted, animated feature film. Single tickets available at the Penticton Art Gallery and The Book Shop – 242 Main St. (250-492-6661). All movies are screened at the Landmark 7 Cinema.

Nov. 18 and 19 — Christmas Market on board the historic SS Sicamous. Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 35 handmade and vintage vendors. Music, door prizes and free parking. Admission is $4. Children under 12 are free.

Nov. 23 — Downtown Penticton Association presents the Tree Lighting Festival from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Nanaimo Square on Main Street. Gingerbread cookie decorating, colouring contest, special North Pole mailbox to drop off letters to Santa and join Santa and the mayor for the tree lighting at 7:15 p.m.
