The Old School House welcomes famed bassist

Kevin Mauldin set to play TOSH jazz club Tuesday night

 A special guest will be performing at The Old School House’s Jazz Club this Tuesday night, principle bassist with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, Kevin Mauldin.

Mauldin earned a Bachelor of Music Degree from Memphis State university in 1982 and a Masters degree in Music from Cincinnati Collage Conservatory of Music in 1985. Mauldin taught at the Brevard Music Center and also at the University of Miami from 2000 to 2010. When not performing with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra (in Florida), Mauldin performs with jazz artists in Southwest Florida. 

Mauldin will be playing this Tuesday, Aug. 9 at TOSH’s Jazz Club, which happens every Tuesday evening at the centre from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Admission is by donation. For more information visit www.theoldschoolhouse.org or call 250-752-6133.
