Spiral Dance Studio’s sixth annual solo, duo and trio showcase took the stage at Earl Marriott Secondary’s Wheelhouse Theatre, Feb. 6.
Organized by parents to allow students aged six to 17 an opportunity to dance their tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, modern, stage and contemporary numbers in front of a live audience before taking them to regional dance competitions, the show included performances by duo Sarah Formosa and Hannah Rici (Forca), Julia Baszo (Trust Me) and Cailyn Andrews (My Bologna).
The showcase also supports a scholarship fund for graduating dancers wishing to pursue a career in dance arts.
