The Vaudevillians, a non-profit seniors entertainment troupe, are looking to fill a number of positions in their organization:
• Artistic director — to oversee the 2016 show, and write and cast for the 2017 show;
• M.C. — must be comfortable on stage, able to connect with the audience, introduce numbers and tell some jokes;
• Sound tech — knowledge in running a sound system preferred, but training can be provided;
• Backstage manager — to organize all backstage details, stage set up and oversee cast;
• Performers — singers, dancers, comedians and any Vaudeville inspired acts are always welcome to attend rehearsals and audition;
These are volunteer positions with the exception of the artistic director, who is eligible for an annual honourarium.
