Shuswap Theatre’s next production, The Herbal Bed, is an emotional thriller set in the summer of 1613.
Susanna Hall, daughter of William Shakespeare, has been accused of immoral behavior by a drunken young gentleman and responds by charging him with slander, which leads to an Inquisition-like trial.
The play runs April 26 to May 4, and auditions will take place Sunday, March 3 and Monday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at Shuswap Theatre.
Actors must be prepared to perform at the O-Zone Festival in Vernon on May 16.
