The 30th Annual Members’ Exhibition winners have been anounced.
The exhibition, currently on view at the Campbell River Art Gallery until April 27, is a celebration of the visual arts community on northern Vancouver Island. The exhibition comprises original art work created by a diverse group of artists who are members of the Campbell River Art Gallery and Campbell River Arts Council.
Artists whose work was selected for awards were:
- Awards of Excellence: Perrin Sparks, Lyn Farquharson.
- Award of Merit: Catherine Martha Holmes, Debbie Reusch, Karen Martin Sampson, Sonia Hauser, Dianne Bersea, Heather Hughson, Dolores Ordway, Lesley Rieck, Loretta Busch.
- Honourable Mention: Christina Munck, Cherie Dobbie, Bert Badey, Ann-Louise Beaumont, Martina Kowalchuk, Ayami Stryck, Kathryn Botsford.
- Two student awards were given out to Bailey Holly Beauchemin of Carihi and Madeline Cornish of Timberline.
