What most people might consider garbage forms the basis for a new work by two Vernon artists.

Pieces of What incorporates all sorts of waste in an intriguing outdoor installation as the third entry in the Artist’s Garden Project series, mounted in the Rotary Courtyard inside the Kelowna Art Gallery.

Vernon-based artists Carolina Sanchez de Bustamante and her adult son Maxwell Sterry have collaborated to create a piece that features three tall translucent columns strung with brightly painted red, yellow, and orange spherical objects made from clean trash.

The Kelowna Art Gallery is located at 1315 Water St. in downtown Kelowna.
