TWU presents British cathedral music

TWU students are performing A Remarkable Stillness in Abbotsford on Nov. 16.

The chamber singers at Trinity Western University are presenting a colourful performance of British cathedral music in show titled A Remarkable Stillness.

The singers are performing a wide range of cathedral music ranging from the Renaissance to contemporary times.

The 16-member ensemble of choral students perform choral favourites from Benjamin Britten, Thomas Tallis, Henry Purcell, Samuel Sebastian Wesley and Herbert Howells.

The show is on Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Emmanuel Free Reformed Church at 3366 Mount Lehman Rd., Abbotsford.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and are available through Eventbrite or cash at the door.
