Tonye Aganaba, a multidisciplinary artist, musician and performer is bringing her unique talents to the Dream Café July 3.
Currently residing on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations her fluid style is described as soul/neo-folk/R&B and is likened to An DiFranco and Chaka Khan.
Born in London, England to parents of Nigerian and Zimbabwean descent and raised in the seaside town of Weymouth, Dorset, she moved to Canada at the age of 13.
She first lived in Prince Albert, Sask. then moved to Dawson Creek and after graduation attended the University of Victoria’s Phoenix Theatre Program.

Aganaba is a Much More Music video award recipient and is described as a singer/performer who turns heads wherever she goes.
