Wildwood Fire may not be the most popular name for a musical group during forest fire season, but this Vancouver Bluegrass trio promises to deliver musical sparks without burning down the house.
This versatile band, comprised of a Juno award winner and an internationally renown banjoist, is known to thrill audiences with performances of high octane breakdowns as well as sweet ballads.

Though, not to be limited, they can even spice up evenings with covers of popular songs and classic rock anthems in a bluegrass style, and have been known to occasionally play a musical saw during their genre bending shows.
Wildwood Fire will be performing at 7 p.m. on Aug. 27 at the Qualicum Beach Community Hall for the Oceanside Folk Roots Club.
