It's party time at the Ex, with lots of different talent lined up to entertain you at the fair.

There will be plenty of entertainment to enjoy at this year’s Cowichan Exhibition, taking place from Sept. 8 to 10.

It all starts Friday, at 5 p.m. with the Backyard Elephants.

During the main supper hour, from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Raised Fourth and Lynnea Bruce take the stage.

After the grand opening, it’s time for Completely Creedence, whose show starts at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 9, the big stage entertainment starts at noon with the O’Brien School of Irish Dance, followed at 12:30 p.m. by some hip hop and jazz dancing.

At 1 p.m., it’s the Cowichan Valley Cloggers and then the HellKatz entertain until 4 p.m.

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday night, it’s time for Black Moon, followed by Vance Driver, from 7:45 until 8 p.m.

The main show on Saturday night it Zachary Stevenson, who takes the stage at 8 p.m.

From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, everything stops for the annual Cowichan Exhibition Zucchini Races. Don’t miss it.

By Sunday, Sept. 10, the pace slows a little, as the fair winds down.

From noon to 12:30 on the main stage it’s the Shelley Cassidy Highland Dancers while from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. everyone’s eyes are on the Prevost Veterinary Clinic Pet Show.

During the entire fair, be sure also to check out Twiggly Wiggly the Clown, who’ll be roving all over the site.
