The Journey of the Wise was the Nativity play offered by the Shawnigan Alliance Church congregation on Saturday night, Dec. 15.
The weather co-operated as the enthusiastic volunteers presented one of their trilogy of Christmas plays; they rotate them from year to year.
This year’s story revolved around what the Magi saw and thought as they decided to follow a bright star that signified the birth of a new king.
