The Township of Langley’s Canada 150 summer concert series closes this Thursday with a performance of quirky, dance-able folk-pop music.
Langley duo The Kwerks will take the stage at the outdoor amphitheatre at Willoughby Community Park on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m.
They will be the last to perform in the successful series of free concerts that ran every Thursday night in July and August.

The Kwerks, made up of husband and wife team Ryan and Laura Koch, will be playing some fresh and snappy songs intermingled with cheeky stories of their lives as a married couple with three kids and a dog.
Since 2015, the Kwerks have released two EPs, and participated in several projects including a national commercial campaign for Dominion Lending Centre, in which their feature music video was shown in theatres across Canada. In 2017, they finished in the Top 25 of over 2,000 entries from across Canada in the CBC Searchlight competition.
Concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to this free event.
