Singer Rosemary Siemens and her five-piece bluegrass band The Sweet Sound Revival perform in Abbotsford on Wednesday, March 29 at Emmanuel Mennonite Church (3471 Clearbrook Rd.).
The concert begins at 7 p.m. and is part of their “Have a Little Faith Tour” across western Canada.
Siemens is a Canadian violinist and singer. She will perform songs from her Global Music Award-winning album Plum Coulee, My Home, featuring gospel, bluegrass, country music and inspirational storytelling.
Special guest is Gospel Music Award winner Dean Flandez.
Siemens has performed four times at New York’s Carnegie Hall and was the first violinist to perform at the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican in Rome.
She plays a 300-year-old violin named Sparkle that was played in King Louis XIV’s orchestra.
Siemens hails from a family farm in Plum Coulee, Manitoba, and is currently based in Vancouver.
