Virtual art show includes Indigenous land acknowledgement

Show presented by Abbotsford Arts Council with North Poplar Grade 5 students

A new online art exhibit titled ReconciliACTION: Land Acknowledgement through Arts is now open in Abbotsford.

The show is hosted by the Abbotsford Arts Council and Kariton Art Gallery in partnership with Abbotsford School of Integrated Arts (North Poplar campus) as part of the digital Downie-Wenjack Legacy space programming.

The exhibit features art and video documentation. It showcases the interdisciplinary learning of North Poplar’s Grade 5 students, connecting Indigenous land acknowledgement, honourable harvest, and awareness of residential schools to promote respect and healing.
