The Reach Gallery Museum hosts a Vision Board Workshop on Thursday, Jan. 28.
The session runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and is led by artist Jamie Smith, who will help participants get focused and help make their goals and dreams a reality.
Vision boards create space for a person to focus on what they want; which inevitably begins to expand with more focus.
After creating a vision board and placing it in a space where it is seen often, it essentially becomes a tool for daily short visualization exercises.
Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises and allows for change to be at the forefront of the mind, helping you achieve your goals, Smith says.
The workshop includes the use of a workbook, called the Thrive Guide.
No artistic skills are required. Cost for the workshop is $55, including all art supplies. For more information or to register, visit thereach.ca/events-programs or call 604-864-8087.
