The Debris hits the stage for a return engagement at 7:30 p.m. this Saturday at the Zocalo Café and Gallery.

The band plays some ’60s and ’70s rock and roll classics by the Rolling Stones, Beatles and CCR and some blues standards such as Spoonful and Flip Flop Fly.

The evening will highlight some of their original songs penned by lead guitarist and vocalist Jim Hunter and keyboard/vocalist Mathew Nicol, such as crowd pleasers Muscle Car, City Girls, and New Plan.

Steve Smith on harmonica and bass player Steve Ellis add their vocals to tunes you are sure to recognize.

Gee Funk’s smooth rhythms on drums complement the eclectic mix of blues, rock and roll and other genres.

Flying Debris got its start as Weekend Warriors sponsored by Sound Advice. Nine years later, they have played numerous dances and fundraisers around the Valley.

Come enjoy the music in Zocalo’s relaxed friendly atmosphere.
