For the first time in their 32-year history, The Waterboys will play in Victoria at the University of Victoria’s Farquhar Auditorium.
The band has explored a number of different styles over the years – depending on the era and the composition of the band at the time. They are known as a hybrid of indie rock and folk with blues and Celtic influences. The show will please fans both old and new with a selection of songs from their new album as well as fan favourites.
The Waterboys perform May 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Farquhar Auditorium, University Centre, UVic.
