The Highlands Music Coffee House is starting the year on a high note. This Saturday’s (Jan. 13) event will star Susannah Adams and Karel Roessingh.
Adams drew a standing ovation at this year’s Victoria Jazz Festival and is one of the region’s most sought-after entertainers. Roessingh is a composer, arranger, producer and a talented musician who has written or co-written scores for more than 500 television episodes, award-winning films and documentaries. You may also recognize him as one of Highlands’ councillors, serving his fourth term as a councillor and has served two terms as mayor.
Taking place in the historic Caleb Pike House, 1589 Millstream Rd., the concert gets underway at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and children under the age of 15 are free.
