The West Coast Lumberjacks are returning to the Penticton Peach Festival.
The action-packed show, sponsored by the Lakeside Resort and Penticton Honda Centre, will be in the middle of Okanagan Lake Park from Aug. 5-8, 2015.
Besides being world-class lumberjacks, the group has become television celebrities. They have appeared on Bachelor Canada, Canada’s Got Talent and the Amazing Race.
“The last time the loggers were at Peachfest (in 2012), they attracted huge crowds,” said Peach Festival Entertainment Director Bill Kolter. “What a fantastic, family show.”
The West Coast Lumberjacks have appeared at events throughout North America including the Pacific National Exhibition, in Vancouver, and the Canadian National Exhibition, in Toronto.
Their high-energy show includes: Chainsaw carving, standing block chop, axe throwing, tree climbing, underhand chop, log rolling and springboard chop.
There is no admission charge for the loggers show. The 68th annual Penticton Peach Festival is scheduled Aug. 5-9. For further information go to peachfest.com.
