Among the artists participating in the exhibition is Langley’s Brian Croft, president and organizer of the West Fine Art Show Society.
He is a former fighter pilot with the Canadian Forces and today, is a widely recognized artist whose work emanates from the beautiful locales surrounding Vancouver. He has introduced a historical and heritage perspective into his work and this has become the focal element and trademark of his various collections.
Langley Hospice Society is community-based and is committed to providing emotional, practical and social support for people who are living with terminal illness — and their family and friends — throughout the last stage of illness, at the time of death and during bereavement.
In their quest to ensure access to quality palliative care and support for our growing community, the society will break ground later this year for the building of the new 15-bed, free standing Langley Hospice Residence that will be located on 52 Avenue, just east of 219A Street.
In addition to palliative or end-of-life care and support through the hospice residence and in the community, the Langley Hospice Society provides anticipatory, early and ongoing, individual and group grief support programs for children, teens, adults and families; education; advocacy; community outreach; volunteer training; day camp and summer camp programs, free of charge to the community.
