Family movie day
Families can watch Disney’s most recent animation “Moana” for free at the Prince Rupert Famous Players cinema on Saturday, Nov. 26 thanks to sponsor Ridley Terminals Inc.
The doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the movie starts at 10 a.m.
Popcorn and drinks included. Children under 12-years must have a parent or adult with them.
Celebrate Diversity
Food, dance and a multicultural show-and-tell is available to the community to experience on Saturday. A Celebration of Multicultural Diversity takes place at the Highliner Plaza hotel on Nov. 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

SPORTS EVENTS THIS WEEKEND
All-Native Basketball Qualifying Tournament
Have your chance to see which All-Native teams will advance to the main tournament in February.
Six women’s teams, six intermediate teams and five senior men’s teams have been participating since Wednesday. The championship games will all be played on Saturday.
The intermediate final is set for 2 p.m., the women’s at 3:30 p.m. and the senior men’s at 5 p.m.
Minor hockey action
There’s plenty of hockey happening at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre this weekend.
The Peewee Rep Seawolves will play two games, the first against Terrace at 11 a.m. and the second versus Houston at 4:15 p.m.
The Bantam Rep Seawolves will also get some ice time, hosting Smithers at 1:30 p.m.
Flag rugby game
Some people in Prince Rupert are trying to start a flag rugby league.
Everyone is invited — yes, men, women, children — on Sundays at 1 p.m. at the Charles Hays Secondary School field to play some informal games.
