RIGHT TO LIFE CONCERT
The Abbotsford Right to Life Society is hosting a benefit concert on Friday, April 8 at 7 :30 p.m. at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 3215 Trethewey St. The concert will showcase Justine Davis, Reid and Dana Wright, the Sweeney Family Singers, Shane Hanson and Stephanie Ashfield and the MEI Marching Band. 30 HOUR FAMINE
On April 8 and 9, Canadian teens from schools, churches and youth organizations across Canada will refrain from eating for 30 hours for the World Vision 30 Hour Famine. Last year, Abbotsford teens raised $23,933.22. Visit www.famine.ca for more information on how you can participate.
ROMANCE OF THE CELLO
The Fraser Valley Symphony presents Romance of the Cello, with special guest artist Joel Stobbe. Stobbe is a renowned soloist of the cello in B.C. and abroad. The concert is on Sunday April 10, at 3 p.m. at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, 32315 South Fraser Way. Stop.think.delete is a play that explores issues of bullying in the present teen culture. It will debut at the Clarke Theatre on Wednesday, April 13 and Thursday, April 14, at 7:30 p.m. A forum to explore the topic of bullying will follow. PASSION FOR FASHION
The MSA Museum is hosting an evening of 1920’s couture, modern fashion and a concert for their event, Passion For Fashion. FLYFISHING FILM TOUR
The Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) 2011, is coming to Abbotsford on Friday, April 8 at the Sumas First Nation Community Hall, 2800 Sumas Mountain Road.
