The downtown Nanaimo Art Gallery on Commercial Street, offers ArtRageous Saturdays workshops for children ages five to 11.
Workshops start April 2 using tissue paper and glue to create an underwater scene to hang in the window.
On April 16, children will learn to make a spring landscape with flower paintings by working in watercolour. Science meets art as kids learn what happens to the paint when salt is added.
On April 30, children will work with printing and stamps to make all sorts of images.
The workshops run from 10:30 am. to noon. Cost is $10 per child, or $15 for two siblings. All art supplies are included.
