A Night of Magic featuring magician Sterling Dietz from Whatcom County is set for Aug. 19 as the fall fundraiser for the Acoustic Emporium/Vineyard Centre on Wellington Avenue.
Dietz earned the title of ‘World Teen Champion of Magic’ that will make for world class entertainment in downtown Chilliwack.
Born and raised in Washington, Dietz has moved his full theatre show to Los Cabos, Mexico.
“We’re working on a number of ways to improve and expand our space,” said Vern Tomke, pastor at the Vineyard Centre.
That means some elbow grease and some additional funding.
“Our ultimate goal is building community in Chilliwack.”
The event is also shaping up to be a great introduction to the upcoming autumn season at the Acoustic Emporium, which is the folk club component of the Vineyard Centre.
“We’re getting excited about the fall season,” he said.
Tickets for A Night of Magic are $25 each at Ballam Furniture.
The fundraiser is Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 7:30 p.m. at 45892 Wellington.
