Singers from the Nanaimo Youth Choir are presenting Songs for You, the group’s year-end concert.
The event is Friday (June 7) at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church. Tickets are $14 at the door/children under 10 years old are free.
The choir is directed by Martin Smith and the singers will be accompanied by Liam Pistor, playing the piano, and flutist Jennifer Cluff. Members are youth aged five to 19 years old.
The group was founded in 1992 and over the years the choir has won first in its choral category four times at the B.C. Festival of the Arts.
