Hope Chamber hosting all candidates meeting Oct. 10

Questions can be sent in beforehand or posed in a Q&A

Hope residents will have a chance to lob questions at the candidates hoping for their vote.

The Hope and District Chamber of Commerce has set up an all candidates meeting for Oct. 10, and that will include emailed questions and a Q&A near the end of the meeting.

The candidates are Rob Bogunovic (People’s Party of Canada), Arthur Green (Green Party), Daniel Lamache (Christian Heritage Party), Heather McQuillan (NDP), Dorothy-Jean O’Donnell (Marxist-Leninist), Mark Strahl (Conservative), and Kelly Velonis (Liberal).

The all candidates meeting is just one of several held in the riding throughout the campaign. Several organizations in Chilliwack have organized meetings with questions pertaining to their interests, for example, the Chilliwack Children and Youth Committee.

Hope’s event will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the conference room of the Hope Recreation Centre on Oct. 10. Questions can be sent ahead via email at HDCC2013@outlook.com.
