Yellowhead 4H Club member, Sara Kate Smith, is pictured being awarded the first place ribbon in the Speech Category of the 4-H Provincial Communications Finals held in Maple Ridge on July 26-27. Smith was up against top competitors from around the province, who were all given 40 minutes to prepare an impromptu speech of two to six minutes in length on the topic, “Agriculture: more than food”.
