Four guiders from Quesnel attended the 4th Guiders Gathering for the Rivers North area (Williams Lake to the B.C. Border North and East to the Alberta border to the Pacific Ocean in the West) held in Prince Rupert for the first time May 26 – 29. One of the highlights for the Quesnel guiders on the train trip north was meeting four women from England, all English Trefoil members from Southampton who were heading to Prince Rupert then to Vancouver Island to meet with an island Trefoil group. The two groups shared songs, experiences and guiding stories. The gathering in Prince Rupert provided guiders from around the district a chance to network, learn a little and conduct area business. More than 40 guiders attended.
