A photograph from her sister’s yard will now come with two-ply.
Surrey resident Caroline Lillico, is one of eight winners in this year’s Royale Canada Collection contest
More than 9,400 Canadians entered a photo in the contest to adorn boxes of the company’s Royale Canada Collection tissue paper.
Lillico’s photo of a flower is titled Perfection in Simplicity.
“I named it because it’s perfect… simple… and a miracle,” said Lillico. “I love walking through gardens and parks, taking candid pictures of the different flowers, trees, animals, birds and other creatures I encounter. Time to myself like this helps me to get away from the demands of the day and to connect back into what’s really important in life.”
“Whether it’s a simple snapshot of something interesting or a momentous occasion, photographs play a huge role in our lives,” said Gary MacIntosh, director of marketing at Royale Canada. “This contest offers a unique opportunity for budding Canadian photographers to gain incredible exposure.”
A panel of judges selected 20 photos for the online vote. Six of the contestants won from online votes and two were chosen by the judges.
The 2012 collection will be available at retailers across Canada until July.
