The 30th annual family-friendly Berrybeat Festival is returning to the streets of Historic Downtown Abbotsford this July.
Celebrate one of the world’s most beautiful berry-producing communities at this vibrant market and street festival.
Indulge in traditional strawberry pancakes or strawberry shortcakes served over fiddling music or Korean drumming – and watch as local artists paint views of our quaint downtown.
From panning for gold to sampling wine, the festival has something for all ages. Other attractions include the colourful, nine-hole Bells and Whistles mini-golf course, Rockin’ K Ranch horses in the Agrifair pen, and the Art Express bus. In between meeting Ronald McDonald and Mr. Flower, try out the festival street fare such as kettle corn and mini donuts. The event will also feature live entertainment, including local singers and dancers. At the end of the day, visitors are invited to join the evening street party, where professionals will teach dance steps and moves.
Admission to Berrybeat is free. The festival takes place on Saturday, July 9 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, July 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information visit downtownabbotsford.com.
