Christmas Bureau still seeking donations

The organization has now received approximately $60,000, or 50 per cent of the finances needed to have a successful season.

The Mission Christmas Bureau would like to thank all those who have brought in or sent donations so far this season.

The organization has now received approximately $60,000, or 50 per cent of the finances needed to have a successful season.

The bureau is still accepting registrations, so if you know someone who needs assistance, please let them know that help is available.

The Festival of Trees brought in more than  $1,300, 300 pounds of food, some great gifts and some beautiful trees.

The second West Coast Express Santa Train had about 1,200 passengers from Mission and many helpful gifts were donated.

As Christmas approaches, the bureau’s biggest need is still financial donations. The largest need for gift items is still teen gifts.
