But it hasn’t quite run out yet.
The fourth annual event is slated to kick off at the Lighthouse Community Centre in Qualicum Bay on Nov. 3 and 4, but organizers say the deadline for submissions is on July 12.
The event will feature guest speakers, entertainment, a raffle with some superb prizes, including original art works by local artists. Last year’s event saw more than $3,500-worth of prizes given away to lucky winners.
All this of course comes as an addition to the main event, the art show and sale.
As was the case in 2011, entrance to the show is by donation to the food bank. Last year saw a whopping $1,330 raised, along with 416 pounds of groceries.
