There are still spaces available for the Enderby and District Arts Council artisan market July 28.

This is the seventh annual market and it will once again be set up in the Maud Street parking lot off Cliff Avenue.

Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the market will be right in the centre of the Enderby Arts Festival activities.

“The festival, now in its third year, is a free family-friendly day of markets, music, magic and art,” said Neil Fidler, with the Enderby and District Arts Council.

“Along with the market, there will be music and other entertainment, the Enderby Lions pancake breakfast and the return of the medieval fair in Belvidere Park.”

Vendors of handcrafted items should call Fidler at 250-838-0577 or Maureen Robertson at 250-838-7816 to book a space for the artisan market.

There will be a $15 registration fee.

“Most of last year’s vendors have already signed on,” said Fidler.

“But we actively encourage beginners as this is a great opportunity to showcase their work in a venue that each year is attracting a larger crowd.”
