Summerland has several events and activities scheduled for the Family Day weekend.
On Friday, Feb. 6, the Summerland Steam will host the Kelowna Chiefs at the Summerland Arena. The game begins at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Feb. 7, the Summerland Art and Trade Show will be held at the Summerland Waterfront Resort on Lakeshore Drive. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It will feature art from members of the Devine Art Group as well as tastings from My Chocolate Crush, Saxon Winery and Bad Tattoo Brewery. Several businesses and professional services will provide information at the show.
On Sunday, Feb. 8 Junior B hockey action continues as the Summerland Steam host the Princeton Posse at the Summerland Arena. Game time is 2 p.m.
On Monday, Feb. 9, a free Family Day Swim will be held at the Summerland Aquatic and Fitness Centre from 1 to 3 p.m. The inflatable toys will be in the water and free helium balloons and refreshments will be available.
